Hello, I'm Tuomas Rauhala.

I am Tuomas Rauhala, a musician and drum teacher from Finland. I have been working as a musician and artist full-time for over ten years. I have also worked as a composer and arranger and performed in over 20 countries. I have been playing drums for almost 30 years and I want to help everyone to become a better player. My long experience and passion for music and drumming will give you the tools to avoid many pitfalls.Ā
My Story

I was born in Vimpeli, Finland.Ā I started playing the drums at the age of 9. I began my studies playing classical percussion but found my love for Jazz, Fusion, Rock and Metal very early. After graduating from Kaustinen College Of Music at the age of 19, I moved to FinlandĀ“s capital Helsinki. In Helsinki I studied the drums at Helsinki Pop/Jazz Conservatory and Metropolia University OfĀ Applied Sciences.
Ā During my musical career I have had the pleasure to work and perform with very different artists such as POETS OF THE FALL, GRAND DISCOVERY, JOHN PATITUCCI, PAUL GILBERT, ANDRE NIERI, KASMIR, REDRAMA, ANNA ABREU, WALTTERI TORIKKA to name a few.
